Cher, who is 77 years old, said she’s shy around men, especially when she’s not working with them. She mentioned turning down Elvis and then said, “And the reason I go out with young men is because men my age are older — well, now they’re all dead — but before, they were always terrified to approach me. Jennifer Hudson jumped in, saying, “They’re bold.”
Cher agreed, saying, “Yeah, raised by women like me.”
Cher’s reason for dating younger men came up after her relationship with Alexander “AE” Edwards, who is 40 years younger, got a lot of attention from fans and the media.
When asked about Edwards’ intentions, Cher said on X, “Let Me Explain…I DONT GIVE A [flying] FK WHAT ANYONE THINKS.”
